The Northeast Athletic Conference (NAC) is a competitive high school sports conference located in Northeast Ohio, featuring small-town programs with a strong tradition of success in softball.
NAC softball is divided into two divisions—the Stars Division and the Stripes Division—with each team playing its division opponents twice during the regular season. Due to the challenges of spring weather in Northeast Ohio, crossover games do not count toward conference standings, ensuring fair and consistent league play. This format places a heavy emphasis on divisional matchups, depth, and in-season adjustments as teams face familiar opponents multiple times.
